Is your mouth watering just by seeing the name Cronuts? Sure, many love this unique pastry but it’s also the moniker for a tasty strain that was developed by Alphakronik Genes out of Oregon. The team there started off their Le Patisserie Series with this bud by crossing the Forum Cut of Girl Scout Cookies with Sin City Kush.
Ideal for users of all experience levels, Cronuts features an average of 17% THC potency. Buds tend to be small and dense, and while her amber pistils are pretty, it’s really her super thick coating of trichomes that steals the show. You’d think that a sweet flavor would accompany this strain, but her tastes actually lean more toward the savory end of things. Wood, fuel, spices, and more all mingle together with a little bit of floral notes to please just about every palate out there.

Cronuts is a pretty interesting strain when it comes to the effects she imparts, as she walks the fine line between up and down with grace. A few tokes will impart happiness like nothing else, and often infuses individuals with social tendencies and a touch of creativity. These long-lasting effects could be great for wrapping up a day at the office or even better for dinner out with friends. Keep in mind, however, you will eventually succumb to a more relaxed state, but will still remain fairly functional.
While this strain may not be super strong when it comes to her high, she is still pretty adept at helping individuals with a range of medical concerns. From pain and anxiety to nausea and more, Cronuts will take the edge off of most issues. Many rely on this strain for help with women’s health concerns, and those who struggle with nausea would be wise to take a toke before mealtime. Others have found success with other chronic concerns, placing Cronuts toward the top of the list when it comes to relief.
Growing this strain yourself may prove to be a bit challenging as seeds are hard to come by, but if you are so lucky, Cronuts offers a fairly easy go of it. Both indoor and outdoor settings are just fine for this hearty plant, and she’s quick to mature after 6 to 7 weeks. We’d recommend consulting with an experienced grower before you begin just to see if you can glean any additional insights.
Said to be super rare in many parts of the United States, those living in the Pacific Northwest might have an easier time locating Cronuts at their local dispensary. Unfortunately, breeders don’t even have this strain listed on their website anymore, so if you do come across some, buy as much as you can before she’s gone.
